Annoying Omission
This AP obituary of Lady Bird Johnson mentions how she got her nickname but fails to tell us that her real name was Claudia.
R.I.P., Mrs. Johnson.
UPDATE: They've corrected the article now.

They seem to have changed it. It now reads
Born Claudia Alta Taylor in the small East Texas town of Karnack, Johnson received her nickname in infancy from a caretaker nurse who said she was as "pretty as a lady bird."
This is weird, we were just talking about how Lady Bird was still alive.
It's not really a coincidence; I mentioned that she was still alive because I saw an article that said she was in the hospital.
Way to burst my bubble man! :)
