Mistaken Identity
Illinois Senate appointee Roland Burris, who faces a challenge from Harry Reid over whether he will be seated as a Senator, seems to have forgotten who appointed him to the position:"We are hoping and praying that they will not be able to deny what the Lord has ordained," Burris said.Umm, that wasn't the Lord, Roland. That was disgraced Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. Big difference.

What the hell!!
I thought we were done with all this darn Jesus in our politics now that the Era of Hope and Change had arrived.
The LORD no more gives a damn who's in charge of the country than he does who wins a high school baseball game, or a grammy award.
