News of the Weird
This is both very strange and very sad... a woman in Kansas had to be pried from a toilet seat by emergency responders because she had a phobia about leaving the bathroom and had stayed on the toilet for two years.

Sometimes it's hard to know whether to laugh or cry at news like this. I'd go with laugh because it makes me feel better.
Also, yikes. It's one thing that she was nuts enough to do this, but that he would let her says a lot about him. Just that he would put up with her not coming out of the bathroom for two years. I consider myself a patient and understanding person, but I've got my limits, and two years is well beyond those limits. I'm not saying he deserves to be demonized by his neighbors like he claims to be. But at the very least he's an enabler, not to mention a Helper Guy.
Why is this news ... chicks always take too long in the bathroom ...
One of my kids would have dragged me off long before that.
